The Leucos story Leucos was born in 1962 from an original project that merged the enthusiasm of the exciting 1960?s design with one of the most refi ned techniques of hand-work: the art of Murano glass. During its long history, Leucos has explored new techniques of glass manufacturing and has continuously developed lighting designs that are both creative and innovative. Design remains the focal point and key element of Leucos? philosophy and is confi rmed by its collaboration with an internationally known team of award-winning designers. Leucos nace en el 1962 de la idea de fundir los entusiasmos del design naciente de los años ?60 con la más refi nada tradición del vidrio artesanal de Murano. En el curso del tiempo y con la evolución del design, Leucos ha explorado nuevas técnicas en la producción del vidrio desarrollando así la propia capacidad de producir ?Luz? con continuas novedades en la creatividad luminotecnia. La fi losofía artística de Leucos ha sido siempre el ?design? que, desarrollandose siempre en el ámbito decorativo, es testimoniado por la colaboración de designers de fama internacional.
