Electromagnetic Locks Closer/Holder/ Release Devices Coordinators The EML-1000M electromagnetic lock provides 1,650 lb (748 kg) of holding force. Magnets are available for push- or pull-side mounting on wood, steel, or aluminum doors and frames. The EML-1000M Series features field-selectable dual voltage and interlocking mounting plate for simple installation. DORMA's closer/holder/ release devices hold doors open during normal operating conditions, but instantly release and close them in an emergency. The devices can be integrated into the building's fire alarm system or can provide protection as a stand alone unit with integral smoke detection. The GSR Series provides efficient door control for pairs of doors. Combining the smooth, quiet operation of twin TS93 door closers with a coordinator housed in the track unit, the GSR provides proper sequential closing and can be electrified for hold open of the active door, the inactive door, or both. The GSR meets ADA barrier-free requirements and also features a safety override. 7

The DORMA ESA Stylish, Durable, and Powerful Providing strength, beauty, and technology all in one package, the ESA Automatic Sliding Door is one of the most intelligent, efficient, and technologically advanced sliding doors on the market. Powerful ESA doors are strong enough to operate door panels weighing as much as 350 lb (159 kg). A continuous selfmonitoring control system adds an extra measure of safety and efficiency. The impressive low-profile, 4.5" × 7.5" (114 mm × 191 mm) ESA header means the doors are installed flush with the surrounding structure-creating a sleek, unbroken sightline that blends the doors into the The DORMA ICU A variety of health care solutions DORMA ICU300 DORMA Automatics offers a complete line of ICU manual sliding doors for special care facilities such as hospitals and surgical centers. The DORMA ICU300 allows for continuous observation of patients, while allowing quick and easy access during emergency conditions. overall architectural design. In addition, DORMA uses a minimum .125 header thickness to create one of the strongest headers in the industry. The self-supporting header can span up to 16' (4.9 m) without requiring additional reinforcement. Another exclusive feature from DORMA Automatics is a sound-dampening track. An extruded EPDM rubber profile, located beneath the replaceable aluminum track, muffles sounds caused by friction from door carrier rollers. It reduces operational noise to a mere whisper and stops vibration resonance that can be transferred to building structures. DORMA ICU300 doors are available in a wide range of sizes, configurations, and finishes. Single, bi-parting, or telescopic doors are available with either two, three, four, or six panels. A recessed track or trackless guide system allows for smooth operation. Standard features include premature breakout prevention and electrostatic discharge grounding to protect sensitive medical equipment from static electricity. The ICU300 is also available in a smokerated configuration. Two ESA styles are offered for elegant and upscale applications: Fine Frame and Monumental. The Fine Frame style is a perfect marriage of beauty and function ality, combining full view aesthetics with excellent weather-sealing qualities. The ESA Monumental style utilizes stainless steel or polished bronze. Custom welding elimi nates seams and ensures a beautiful appear ance for the lifetime of the door. ICU1200 The new, easy-to-install DORMA ICU1200 is a perfect fit for installations with limited width and selfclosing requirements. The ICU1200 combines two types of door: a doubleacting swing door on one side and a bi-fold manual door on the other. Narrow stiles and an optional muntin ensure clear views for observing patients. For normal traffic, the swing door opens conveniently in either direction. For a wider opening, the bi-fold door collapses to open up nearly the full width of the doorway. ESA200 ESA-HP ESA Auto-Telescopic The DORMA ICU1200 features a low profile 1.75" × 4.5" (44 mm × 114 mm) header and stainless steel pull handles on both the swing and bi-fold doors. The hinge on the bi-fold door is designed to protect fingers. 9

The easy three-digit The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) heightened awareness that doors present barriers to individuals with physical challenges. DORMA offers low energy operators that fulfill the need for constant, reliable, barrier-free access. Depending on the application, DORMA low energy operators can be activated by using wall switches, pushbuttons, motion sensors, or remote control devices. A microprocessor control unit simplifies setup and adjustments to on-site conditions. Easily accessible settings include the door's open and close speeds, holdopen time delay, open check speed, and open force. DORMA ED700 Simple and easy to install, the ED700 provides many features and functions to display allows you to monitor the performance of every function for easy diagnostic evaluation. make existing doors easily accessible. The DORMA ED700 is custom ordered to match the application. All common applications for outswing and inswing doors -either with push arm or slide track arm for tight side clearance-can be adapted for barrier-free access. DORMA ED400-IG With the ED400-IG concealed automatic closer, a door can meet access requirements while maintaining a classic look, such as an arched door or an all-glass façade. This new operator conceals the automatic components in the floor near the door threshold, can function in either low energy or full power mode, and can be used in both new construction and retro-fit applications.
