Green by design A member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Snaidero USA offers Italian kitchens manufactured with non-toxic materials through processes with limited impact towards the environment and human health. Snaidero holds the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification, which ratifies the compliance of its production systems with the provisions issued by the International Organization for Standardization and determines the company's ability to cope with emergencies that can pose a threat to the environment. The wood panels for our kitchens use low formaldehyde emitting glues and resins in compliance with the LFE E1 international certification, whose maximum emission level of 0.14 is lower than the 0.18 standard of the California Air Resources Board. Our water-based paints and varnishes with low levels of toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) guarantee extremely low environmental impact and health protection. Snaidero is committed to environmentally responsible manufacturing. In the past decade, it has achieved considerable reduction of waste production (90%), water consumption (50%), non-recyclable solid waste (89%) and fuel consumption (80%). For the multihousing industry, Snaidero USA offers Zeta Green, a cabinetry line designed specifically to comply with the LEED standards for low emissions pertaining to the "NO ADDED UREA FORMALDEHYDE resins" specification (credit EQ 4.4 low emitting composite materials.) Projects using Zeta Green can therefore receive LEED points towards the obtainment of potential silver/gold/platinum certification by the USGBC. 5
