To develop in taste, quality, and personality one is obliged to respect the past, accept the present, and look with enthusiasm toward the future. - Eleanor Brown I was instilled with an aesthetic sense from an early age. My parents had a passion for antiquities and I loved being their accomplice in these 'treasure hunts.' Our finds gave me an appreciation for how true beauty transcends time to transform your experience of the everyday. I founded Hudson Valley Lighting on the conviction that an inspired design will not only look stunning today, it will become tomorrow's collectable. The wonders that surround our design studio in New York's storied Hudson River Valley are an endless source of design inspiration. With the unrivaled cosmopolitan glamour of Manhattan, the strong architectural legacy of colonial settlers, the industrial grit of turn-of-the-century riverside factories, and the botanical beauty of unspoiled wilderness all at our doorstep, you will discover that our design motifs are as varied and exciting as your decorating imagination. Hudson Valley Lighting, however, is about more than simply style; it's about lifestyle. We design and build premium fixtures for people who insist on the best. We understand that it's not enough for a fixture to look great; it must be made exceedingly well, for future generations to appreciate. Hence, we are devoted to what we call the "out of box experience," or the sense of beauty and quality that is evident when an impeccably manufactured fixture transforms into a treasure over time. Savvy, sophisticated customers, who insist upon superior styling and craftsmanship, inspire our mission. As a third generation lighting designer and manufacturer, I have dedicated nearly thirty years to delivering impeccable designs, with superior form and finish, to well-appointed interior environments across the entire globe. ALPINE: Icy crystal prisms glisten across the Alpine collection. This striking design stacks Hollywood glamour on a rigidly geometric frame, creating an unexpected cubist masterpiece. Subtly 4 | www.hudsonvalleylighting.com staggered clusters of candelabra lamps cast a sparkling glow along Alpine's ethereal frame, extending a brilliant light pattern into any room. Polished Nickel preserves the fixture's winter chill, while Aged Brass accents add warming contrast.
