Terms and Conditions PRICES All prices are F.O.B. factory and are exclusive of taxes, cartoning, packaging, crating, freight and any other incidental cost. Every effort will be made to notify customers who have purchased in the previous 12-month period of any price changes; however, prices are always subject to change without notice. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS All orders must be in writing. Mail or fax P.O. or signed quotation sheet. Verbal orders are not accepted. Confirming orders must be clearly marked ?confirming?. We cannot be responsible for duplicate orders if the aforementioned is not complied with. MMW will send an acknowledgment of all orders and that acknowledgment is binding. If there is any error in the acknowledgment, notify the factory immediately. Lack of such notification is an assumption of the accuracy of the order. Changes made to existing orders must be in writing and mutually agreed upon by the customer and Master Metal Works. Order revisions may effect the quoted price. CARE OF FINISHES Master Metal Works produces more than thirty finishes. Some of these finishes require special handling when cleaning. Those requiring care are Brass, Bronze and Copper. In most cases these finishes are shipped with a clear coating to prevent tarnish from forming on the surface. Strong cleaners or abrasives will remove this protection and the finish will be damaged. When necessary, use only a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean. Soap and detergents are harmful. If you have any questions about the finish, please check with Master Metal Works. FINISH OPTIONS Unless otherwise indicated on a specific product page, these are MMW?s standard finishes: Matte Black, Polished & Satin Chrome, Polished, Satin & Antique Brass/Bronze, Polished, Satin, Jitterbug and Random Textured Stainless Steel. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE COATING PROCESS WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE CONSISTENCY IN COLOR, SHADE OR GRAIN FROM ORDER TO ORDER. MASTER METAL WORKS HAS NO CONTROL OVER THIS AND THEREFORE ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR VARIATIONS. CUSTOM FABRICATION All custom orders require a 50% deposit with the balance due on delivery for C.O.D. customers. Credit customers will be invoiced for the balance due per terms. Custom orders may not be canceled once work has commenced. Custom orders canceled prior to commencement may be subject to restocking fees on materials ordered and drafting time. Complete information on the custom nature of the product and detailed drawings must accompany the order. TERMS Upon approval of credit by MMW, invoices are net 30 days after the completion of order and verbal notification. Past due accounts are subject to a 1.5% per month service charge. Any action taken to enforce the collection of any balance due on an invoice is subject to additional attorney / collection fees and costs. Credit terms may be revised at any time at the discretion of MMW. STORAGE Master Metal Works is a factory, not a storage facility. Customers are expected to make arrangements for the pick up or delivery of their order within 1 week from verbal notification of completion. Any order remaining at MMW after (1) week may be subject to a storage fee of 5% of the order total per week. We gladly accept MasterCard and Visa.

WARRANTY All standard products described herein are warranted, to the original purchaser, for a period of twelve months from the date of invoice by Master Metal Works to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Master Metal Works will replace or repair goods not in conformity when returned to Master Metal Works at the purchasers expense, during the warranty period. This warranty is void if the product has been accidentally damaged, misused, altered, or repaired by anyone other than Master Metal Works. Except as expressly stated herein, Master Metal Works disclaims other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including warranty of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. No person is authorized to assume for Master Metal Works any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. In no event shall Master Metal Works be liable for any incidental or consequential damages related to the merchandise purchased from Master Metal Works. SPECIAL NOTE Master Metal Works is a manufacturer. We will take all foreseeable precautions when recreating your design to your specifications. We strongly recommend that you have your design reviewed by an architectural or structural engineer. Master Metal Works will not be liable for any structural defects due to flaws in the customers design or specifications. FREIGHT Whenever possible, all orders are shipped via Fed Ex Ground, D.H.L. or common carrier. When prepaid freight is required, a surcharge in the amount up to 30 % over actual freight cost may be applicable. For your convenience, Master Metal Works will pick up and deliver locally at your request, for a minimal fee. Title to goods passes to purchaser and seller responsibility ceases when carriers, at factory dockside, accept shipment for transportation. Master Metal Works assumes no liability for any delay or failure to deliver or perform due to strikes or other labor difficulties, failure or delay of sources of supply or transportation, accidents or other causes beyond factory control. Claims for shortages, incorrect items, etc. will only be considered if written notification is received within 10 days of delivery. Freight claims for loss or damage are the consignee?s responsibility. Please examine all shipments promptly upon receipt and have carrier note any external damage to crating or packaging. RETURN GOODS POLICY Only stocked Hardware items may be returned and only with written consent and shipping instructions. All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise must be received in resalable condition and must be returned within 10 days of authorization. After receipt and inspection of authorized returned merchandise, credit will be issued as originally billed less freight, packaging fees and 25% restocking charge. Any products returned damaged will not be accepted as a returned product and no credit will be issued. Authorized return merchandise must be sent via prepaid transportation. Returned merchandise must be received in original packaging (when supplied). All credit issued for less than $100.00 will be held on account for a period of one year. No other product ordered is returnable or refundable. Because of our continuing product improvement program, specifications are subject to change without notice. CLADDING The process of joining two substrates. Each of the items pictured, with the exception of the tapered cylinder, were created by adhering metal to a wood form. The wood forms may be supplied by our customers or by our wood fabricator. The metal is precisely cut to match the shape of the wood. A special adhesion process is used to clad the metal to the wood. Special clamps are put on and the product is left to cure. The seams are finished to give the final product the appearance of a solid metal piece. The tapered cylinder shown was cladded with the substrates being reversed. It is actually a metal cylinder that was cladded with a wood veneer and the metal strip was added to the bottom. This illusion base is finished in satin and polished stainless steel and measures 18? w x 44? I x 27? Hoa. Illusion can be fabricated in any size and in any of the finishes listed below. Tiered Table We had a request to make a coffee table similar in design to a pool table. So we scaled down the design and recreated it as a coffee table. The three-tiered base shown is 20? Hoa and measures 36? sq., 24?., and 18? sq. This one has a center drawer in the top tier but it can be manufactured with or without the drawer. We can even scale it down to only 2 tiers. Just let us know how many tiers you need. Table Bases Illusion A beautiful expression of how many different components can come together and create a sensational table base. 3? round tube legs blend with the 3/8? x 1-1/2? bar stock stretchers, that seem to gently caress and hold the center spheres. The glass top rests on the legs and center sphere while the bottom shelf seems to magically float above the stretchers. Shown without glass top or shelf Quatra Even though Quatra is fabricated from 2? square tubing and has many squares within a square, the openness of the design still provides an airy and uncluttered look. Quatra shown here is 36? square with each smaller square measuring 8? x 8?. As Quatra increases in size, so do each of the smaller squares. Ancara I Table Bases Need a table for a small space? Ancara is perfect. Fabricated from 3/8? x 1? solid bar stock and bolted in the center, which allows for this base to be shipped knock down for assembly by you. Ancara is small and lightweight. CD Series 4 CD-4000 This is a timeless design that has served designers well over the years. Our disc and column base has a standard 9/16? th. disc base which is available in a variety of diameters. You also have the option of using a 3?, 4? or 6? dia. column. Any size you choose will give you years of reliability, as well as a time-honored design. CD-3400 For a more substantial disc base we offer the CD-3400. This design has a hefty 1-1/2? th. disc with bold 3? x 4? elliptical columns that are cut to appear as though they are emerging right out of the disc base. Available in a 3 or 4 column configuration.
